Гипотеза исследования

We consider hobbies to be different in Russia and in Great Britain.

Цели исследования

1. To find out how teenagers spend their free time in Great Britain and in Russia. 2. To find out what clubs there are in British schools. 3. To find out what kinds of sport are the most popular in Great Britain and in Russia among teenagers. 4. To find out whether teenagers are fond of board games or not and what board games are the most populat in Great Britain and in Russia.

Результаты проведённого исследования

The given project helps to find out and compare the most popular ways of spending free time among teenagers in Great Britain and in Russia. Besides, the project focuses on the subject of sport and extreme sport and offers to analyse the difference in preferences of British and Russian teenagers. Moreover, the project provides us to make a research on clubs that British teenagers like to attend and compare them to ones in Russia. What is more, the project makes us to deduce how popular playing in music bands among teenagers in Britain is. On the whole, the project Leisure Activities develops the knowledge on hobbies or just different ways of spending free time among teenagers in Great Britain and offers to compare these most popular activities with ones that popular among Russian teenagers. 1. Most tennagers in Britain spend their free time doing different activities and visiting different places. For example, they like attenting music cincerts, also some of them love playing in music bands. They are fond of doing sports. At the weekend they like go the cafes or dancing clubs together with friends. In Russia the situation isn`t so much different. After school teenagers attend some clubs, such theater or dancing clubs. When the weather is warm, they like to go for a walk, ride a bicyle and skate. 2. There is a great variety of clubs at Britih school. For example, students can attend art, drama, sport, computer, book, music, photohraphy, choir clubs and so on. Every student can find a club according to his or her interests. 3. In Great Britain teeangers are fond of dong sports. The most popupar ones are bootball, tennis and basketball. In Russia teenagers also like sport. They love football, basketball, hockey, karate and so on. 4. Sometimes teenagersgather with their friends at home or special cafes where they play board games. They`re really into it. The most popular board games are Cluedo, Monopoly, Activity and Scrabble. Russian teenagers are also keen on playing board games which are Monopoly, Domino, Chess, Sea battle, Сheckers.
