What is the positive impact of progress on the environment?

Гипотеза исследования

We believe that technological progress has a positive effect on a person. It is as a result of technical innovations that we get the opportunity to communicate with people around the world, watch coronation broadcasts and explore the cosmos.

1. Get acquainted with the achievements of the 20th and 21st century in the field of technology.

2. Conduct a survey of acquaintances on questions.

3. Build a fishbone reflecting the positive impact of progress on nature.

Результаты проведённого исследования

The study involved 22 people who answered the questionnaire questions and chose 1 answer.

Question: What impact does technological progress have on nature?

1. Positive effect

2. Negative effect

3. Both options

According to the study, respondents note that in most cases progress has a positive effect on human life, society and nature. This is 12 people. Further, 7 people are sure that technological progress has both positive and negative effects. The least respondents believe that technological progress harms society, man and nature.

In general, such results reflect a global trend, that is, people believe that technological progress has a positive effect rather than a negative one, or are inclined to two options.

In this picture you can see the fishbone of the group "Researchers". The guys performed this task in groups. First, they identified subjects that harm nature. Secondly, they found measures that the state can take to minimize harm to nature. Thirdly, human steps have been identified to help nature.

There is a stereotype that the development of technology always entails pollution or destruction of the environment. However, today many advanced developments are aimed at preserving natural resources.

From the first spear to the creation of artificial intelligence, scientific and technological progress has passed a thorny path of development. But now we are witnessing automation and robotization of almost all spheres of our life.

Now you don't need to do routine work at the factory — a robot can do it, you don't need to go to the store — order products online and the courier will bring them himself, you don't need to type a query into the search — the voice assistant will find everything by itself, you don't need to drive a car — Tesla has "learned" to drive itself without the help of a driver. Many scientists write about how modern achievements help solve global environmental problems. So, Robin Murray in the book "Zero Waste" proves that the latest technologies for recycling garbage can save the planet from universal pollution and its consequences. The author lists the world's leading companies that are improving the processes of converting waste into products that can be used again. Technical innovations are involved in all this.

Thus, technological progress has a positive effect on a person. It is as a result of technical innovations that we get the opportunity to communicate with people around the world, watch coronation broadcasts and explore the cosmos.
