(The Secrets of Optimism: Why can some people enjoy life?)

Why do some people know how to enjoy life, while others do not?

1. To study the opinions of our classmates and online articles about what makes people happy.

2. To find out what daily habits make optimists different from pessimists.

3. Создать памятку на английском языке «How to Enjoy Your Life» с практическими советами для подростков. 3. To create a guide (leaflet) in English called "How to Enjoy Your Life" with practical tips for teenagers.

We started our research by asking our classmates a question: "What makes you happy?" Most students said that they feel happy when they spend time with friends, listen to music, or eat something tasty. We found out that people often think money is the main thing, but it is not true. Simple things make us smile.

We learned that optimists have a special habit. They always notice good things. For example, they can be happy about a sunny day, a good mark at school, or a tasty lunch. This habit is called gratitude. Pessimists usually focus on bad things and forget about the good ones.

Our research shows that having a hobby is very important. When you do what you love (drawing, playing sports, or playing computer games), you forget about your problems. Hobbies help us relax and give us positive emotions. People who have no hobbies often feel bored and tired.

Friends and family are very important for enjoying life. Talking to positive people makes us feel better. Optimists try to spend time with people who support them. They also try to avoid negative people who always complain.

Nobody has a perfect life without problems. But optimists understand that bad times pass. They see problems as challenges. Instead of giving up, they try to find a solution. This positive attitude helps them to enjoy life even when things are difficult.

So, why do some people know how to enjoy life? Because it is a choice and a habit. They choose to be positive, they have hobbies, and they appreciate simple things. We realized that anyone can learn to enjoy life if they want to.

Based on our research, we created a guide for teenagers with practical tips. Here are 6 simple tips on how to enjoy life every day:

1. Practice gratitude. Every evening, write down 3 good things that happened to you today. It can be a good mark, a tasty lunch, or a funny message from a friend. 2. Find your hobby. Do what you love: draw, play sports, play games, or read. Hobbies help you relax and forget about stress. 3. Spend time with positive people. Surround yourself with friends and family who support you. Avoid people who always complain. 4. Don't be afraid of problems. Bad times pass. See problems as challenges. If you have a problem, think about how to solve it instead of being sad. 5. Take a break from your phone. Sometimes we forget to look around because we look at our screens. Spend an hour a day without your phone. Go for a walk and enjoy nature. 6. Smile more! Smiling makes you feel better, even if you are sad. It is free and it makes other people happy too.

To clearly show all the reasons and factors that we found out during our research (positive attitude, hobbies, communication, and attitude to difficulties), we made a "Fishbone" diagram. In the fish's head is our main problem question, on the top bones are the things that help people enjoy life, and on the bottom bones are the things that prevent it. In the tail, we wrote our main solution.
