Гипотеза исследования

Несмотря на нерадужные предсказания фантастов 20 века, искусственный интеллект и роботы не смогут заменить человека, но они изменять нашу жизнь до неузнаваемости. Уже начали менять. The future is now.

Цели исследования

1. Find out what can robots and AI do.

2. Identify in what spheres of our everyday life Robotics and AI are used.

3. Determine pros and cons of implementing Robotics and AI into our everyday life.

Guessing the future has always been one of the hardest tasks: overreach on future inventions dates, or estimate social change is always a risk -to-fail activity. History, instead is much more easy, it requires patience, impartiality, preparation, but it stops there, crystallised. It’s already happened, do not run away, do not change. But we believe that a future 20 years it is possible to sketch out, starting from the cutting edge actually already present in the world today, that are unknown to most people.

Robotics and Artificial Intelligence are already here. Was Isaak Asimov right? Did he predict the future? Are those 3 laws already applied into our life?

To answer these questions we've done a study started with a brainstorm. We wanted to understand in which areas Robotics and AI have already been inserted in our life.

We have studied a huge amount of different articles, surveys and studies in order to put all useful information together. You can seen it in this presentation.

We are witnessing very exciting changes and innovations in the world of technology penetrating every industry and every social sphere. In the short run, we may underestimate the consequences (both positive and negative) of the disruption, but the truth is that we should start preparing for them now.

The main task of governments and top management of companies is to create a working environment that will enable everyone to benefit from these shifts. They should provide education and skills training for human workers, support research activities and invest in innovations.
