We conducted a study of the impact of travel on life in the past centuries, and found that travel was an integral part of the life of merchants and in particular seafarers, who opened new lands and including trade routes. After conducting a survey of public opinion, we were convinced that the knowledge of people in the field of geography and the travels of the past are insignificant and require replenishment. During the research, we made a mental map that allows us to know what our project is aimed at.
We considered the following issues:
1) Who were the first travelers?
In each epoch there are people who do not confine themselves to the idea of the world given to them. Their whole life is search. It was thanks to such restless natures that they discovered America, Australia, New Zealand and many other points on the map. And the richest on travelers became in Europe 15-16 centuries - the time of colonization.
Miklouho-Maclay (1846-1888)
Christopher Columbus (1451 - 1506)
Vasco da Gama (1460 - 1524)
Fernand Magellan (1480-1521)
James Cook (1728-1779)
2) What was previously traveled?
The most common form of transport in the past centuries were ships and balloons.
3) How did the journey affect life in the past?
The past centuries are considered centuries of great discoveries, so life in those times changed very quickly, acquiring new knowledge, customs and traditions.
