Mae Jam  River or Salakhin River is in the area of Mae To National Park. Sided with steep cliffs, the river is narrow at some parts and there are plenty of sedimentary rocks underwater, so it is quite an enjoyable rafting stream all year round. The level of difficulty of this rafting activity is 3-4, and the journey takes around 2 hours with the 9km distance. The best time to come rafting is from October to March.

For those who wish to stay close to nature for a longer moment, you can spend the night at Mae To National Park Ranger Unit ( Salakhin ) where lodgings for tourists and tent ground are available (but you need to bring along the sleepback and foodstaff).
