So we arrived together our first stint in Colombo and the day of our first tour arrived. Our driver and vehicle arrived. So we set off. The driving experience is something else altogether. NEVER try to drive yourself in Sri Lanka - we had been warned hence we'd a car and driver.

Very suitable and also to western standards and all sorts of within our price range. We just picked the accommodation we had been satisfied with.

Which took over as pattern for the rest of the tour.

He took us on Safari, found us safari drivers, wonderful local eateries, quality resorts and accommodation, he went looking for and located incredible little shops and brought a genuine local flavour to our tour. History, culture, people, places, cuisine and the rest.

His time effort, meals, accommodation, diligent humble insightful plan to us was part and parcel of the sale and contained in the price. Incredible!

Oh and lest I forget, we booked a second trip to Sri Lanka and asked him to work through the tour including the Kandy Perehara. Among the worlds most spectacular events as well as we had been treated to the best seats in the parade.
