I admit it Im a beach freak. I adore traveling to beaches all over the planet due to the fact, to me, each beach has its own personality, yet, all have that same good quality I really like the capability to instill instant calm. Thats right, even these rocky, craggy beaches with the challenging waves crashing on the rocks can instill instant calm.

Someone asked me the other day if I had to choose just one particular beach to visit, which one particular would it be? The Algarve in Portugal popped into my head. Okay, its not 1 beach, its an area (the southern most component of Portugal to be exact), but The Algarve is so diverse, it truly offers whatever beach is going to fit my mood.

1st, a small geography. Heading west, the western tip of The Algarve is the finish of continental Europe. In fact, in ancient instances the area was felt to be the edge of the planet. So, when youre soaking up the sun on the beaches of The Algarve, the best its fun to just picture yourself at the edge of the planet.

1 of my preferred beaches in The Algarve lies south of Lagos on the western coast - Dona Ana, which is a cluster of coves. Dona Ana is just the best spot to get lost in the beauty of The Algarve. I can just sit and feel for hours. And, when Im via sitting, its entertaining to explore the numerous caves and grottos which grace the area.
