After care proceedings are near a stage where the process of law believe it is in the best interests of the little one to intervene, and enough investigations have been carried out, they could choose to issue what it known as the Care Order. According to FDC Law http://uk.linkedin.com/pub/fdc-law/2b/a08/1b6, it becomes an order from the court which usually places a child in the attention of the Local Authority, and gives that legal parental responsibility.

Nonetheless, FDC Law points out that this does not mean how the mother and father lose their adult rights; it just means that in the event the council so chooses, they've got the power to override the selections of the parents, if it is in the passions of the child.
