Donnacha Dennehy is a musician, born in Dublin in The early 70s. He acquired his supplementary education inside Templeogue College, Dublin. He or she studied Songs at Trinity University, Dublin and later attacked graduate studies at the College of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Upon returning to Dublin he or she founded the actual Crash Ensemble in 1997, an collection of younger players performing minimalist audio and pieces integrating electronics along with multimedia.

Their first work with the group, Crap Box Scams, was a breakthrough in his output and marked a new style in Irish modern day music. Following works for the actual ensemble have included Derailed, With regard to Herbert Brun and most not too long ago Gr? Agus B?s (premiered within February '07), the latter offering the Irish vocalist Iarla ? Lion?ird and including music from the sean n?s tradition. These kinds of works have established his popularity as one of the leading Irish composers of his generation.
