Do Animal's Spirits Stay Behind

Animals for a lot of of us hold a unique devote our way of life and hearts. It was the case for our dog, Crystal, who unfortunately handed down Monday, May 3rd 2010. She had developed a cancerous tumor in her own mouth in September of 2009. Since September, my family and I knew that people could be faced with needing to decide to place her to rest. The week before, we felt that it was the best decision to make. She'd been active up to Monday, but i was concerned that the tumor may spread in to the back of her throat, cutting off vital oxygen. Afterwards, I had been sitting with my Mom, and she or he inquired about "Do you think a part of her will remain?" meaning her spirit. I immediately answered without hesitation "Yes. I do."

I know that every animal lover who believes within the existence of spirits will agree with me. Animals develop their own personality, and be area of the family. The normal scene in movies and commercials of the loyal dog waiting patiently at the door that you should get home, traveling in the passenger seat of the vehicle with their head within the wind, and arriving your living space in the morning to wake you up may be cliche, but they are all true.

Crystal developed her own personality, and her unique habits. She always laid in our front yard on sunshine, making it her passion to chase the kitty next door as he strayed into our yard. My dad could not get a drive anywhere without Crystal bounding up the stairs blocking the doorway until he grabbed her leash. Even though she might not physically be here anymore, I know that her spirit will visit whenever the neighbors cat is within the backyard, when my dad applies to a drive, or to lay in our yard on sunny days. Even talking to our animals which have passed on may bring their spirit nearer to us.

Probably the most common things I have heard others say about losing a pet, is "It requires a while to get accustomed to them not being there. You walk in thinking they will be there, and you realize that it actually happened. They are not there anymore." I finally understood what others had meant by that Tuesday morning. I expected to see Crystal laying in our yard in the sun. I began to think, "What if she is really there, and I am sensing her." Honestly, In my opinion that is what it had been. I was sensing her. You would have it crazy in my experience that she would not visit us.

When others feel that they expect their pets to become there, I'd be willing to bet their animal remains watching over them, making sure that their loved ones is okay. Once they know their loved ones is ok, In my opinion they move on. This is the point in time when I believe families adapt to and fully realize the very fact their animal has passed on, since their spirit isn't there as often anymore given that they know their loved ones is ok. However, they'll always visit day to day to express hi and sit in their favorite spots.
